Nezumi shino teapot with floral decoration. Stoneware fired to cone 9.

I’m a notoriously slow potter. At peak production I’ll make, at most, two dozen small pieces like mugs or bowls per month, or maybe three or four large pieces like amphorae or urns per month. For this reason, as well as fuel supply issues through the pandemic, I’ve neglected this section of my website. I promise I’ll work to resolve this, and I hope to have some work available for sale soon.

If you wish to see my work in person, the Jonathon Bancroft-Snell gallery usually have a small selection of my work on display or available for viewing. I should say, however, that Brian and Jonathon represent some of the best artists producing ceramic work in Canada, including my personal favourites Melissa Leblanc, Angelo DiPietta, Keith Campbell, Ann Mortimer, Judy Blake, Bruce Taylor, Kim Harcourt-Roman, Zsuzsa Monostory, George Shadford, and Nancy Latchford. You should go to see their work first, and view my work as a quaint diversion from their talent. Brian and Jonathon are kind, accommodating souls and I’m grateful to know them.
